HOW TO CONTROL BROADLEAF WEEDS
In lawns
Apply a selective herbicide like TURFCLEAN, LAWNCLEAN PRICKLE CONTROL or HYDROCOTYLE that does not harm lawn grasses but kills a wide range of broadleaf weeds. Selective weedkillers for lawns use the difference between broadleaf weeds and grass to kill the broadleaf weeds without harming the grass.

In garden beds
Spot treat WEED WEAPON or ORGANIC WEEDFREE RAPID. WEED WEAPON is systemic and kills weeds down to the roots within 2-4 days and is an ideal product for use around established trees and shrubs. It is inactive in the soil so planting can be safely carried out soon after treatment. ORGANIC WEEDFREE RAPID will burn down young weeds within hours and is certified organic by BioGro.
In paths and driveways

About
Broadleaf weed is a term used to differentiate them from grasses. Some selective herbicides will kill broadleaf weeds without harming grasses so are useful for getting rid of the weeds in a lawn.
Broadleaf weeds usually have wide leaves and have branched veins (i.e. veins don’t run parallel from base to tip). They are very common in garden bedding and lawns but can also be found growing through cracks in driveways and paths.
