Dandelion is a very common perennial weed, with a well-known large yellow flower. Dandelion is often found in lawns and grasslands. Dandelion weed can be identified quite easy as it contains a milky sap. It has a large taproot and the leaves have a backward-directed pointed leaflet lobe. Similar looking weeds include catsear, hawkbeard, hawkbit, sow thistle and oxtongue.
