Bittersweet is a poisonous vine-like perennial growing up to 2 metres tall which produces berries which start green and become bright red.
Scrambling, sprawling vine like weed with branched stems and hairy oval leaves. It produces clusters of purple potato-like flowers with yellow centres. The berries change from green to scarlet.
