Identify the problem
Asphalt (or tarmac) is usually non-porous but it has a rough surface that traps water and dirt, the rough surface also allows retention of water and encourages growth of staining organisms such as algae, moss, mould and lichen.
How to solve the problem
General cleaning
For general cleaning of dirt and grime from asphalt surfaces use SORTED Dirt and Grime which safely cleans all outdoor surfaces.
- Simply click the pack onto the end of your hose, spray on the formula and leave for 2-3 mins to penetrate. Then hose off. A brush will aid in the removal of any stubborn dirt and grime.
