Baked Clay Granules 

Kiwicare Gro-Sure Houseplant Potting Mix contains Seramis® clay water retention granules. The 100% natural baked clay granules are highly porous which means:

• High water retention – less watering
• Nutrient retention – better plant growth
• Better potting mix aeration – better root structure

This is achieved because the granules have:

• A large volume of pores: ~82 %
• Water retention is more than 100 % of the granules’ own weight
• Fast water soaking and distribution all around the pot
• Releases water as the plant needs
• Capillary lift of approximately 26 cm
• Low specific weight of approximately 390 g/L
