Garden Product Safety Data Sheets

Posted in Garden Advice on July 01, 2017

Where to Find Kiwicare SDSs

Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) are available on the product pages under the Regulations section. Navigate to the product page by selecting it from the appropriate section under the Products tab in the header bar. On the relevant page click on the Regulations tab at the bottom of the page. You will find the SDS as a pdf file for viewing or download.

Kiwicare attempts to ensure that all SDSs are up to date on this website (i.e. dated within the last 5 years), if you find an SDS is out of date then please contact us directly for an updated SDS.

What is a Safety Data Sheet?

Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) are designed to protect the health and safety of people handling a substance by providing information on the hazards of substances and how they should be safely used, stored, transported and disposed of. SDSs also describe emergency procedures, such as what to do in the event of an accident, spill or fire.

Note: The SDS is for the substance in the form of the substance 'in the bottle' e.g. the concentrate or ready to use form. Once a concentrate is diluted its hazards are reduced.

SDS Format

Information in the SDS is presented using the following 16 headings in the order given below:

  1. Identification
  2. Hazard(s) identification
  3. Composition/information on ingredients
