Safe, Effective Long Term Protection

NO Borer Ready to Use is a solvent based product and can be applied directly from the container. The solvent base gives excellent penetration deep into timbers to give the most effective long term control. This product will give up to 20 years protection depending on exposure of treated areas to UV light.  After treatment borer larvae in the wood will be killed as they move to the surface to pupate. Allow treated wood to dry off completely before painting or varnishing.

NO Borer Aerosol Injector is the recommended product for treating painted or varnished weather boards or furniture, by injecting individual flight holes.

NO Borer Concentrate or Ready to Use can be used on painted or varnished surfaces (after testing a small area) by painting on with a cloth or sponge and working the fluid into borer flight holes. This will deny borer the flight holes as places to lay eggs, and will penetrate the timber around the hole giving some protection. However, it will not give as long term protection as the using the aerosol injector.

Directions

Use on unsealed and unpainted timber.  This product is particularly good in the roof and under the house where boards are not painted or varnished.

Application

Unsealed or Unpainted timber.

Paint or brush NO Borer Ready To Use onto the wood or rub into the wood with an old cloth.  Aim for penetration of 2-3mm into the wood to achieve long term residual control.

Painted or varnished surfaces of wood already infested with borer.

Soak cheesecloth with NO Borer Ready To Use, wipe the surface to push fluid into the borer flight holes via capillary action, then immediately wipe the excess off the surface with a clean piece of cheesecloth.  NO Borer Ready to Use will react with paint or varnish to stain or lift it so always wipe clean with a dry cloth.

Spills And Disposal

Wear protective clothing. Contain spill and absorb with Sand, Soil or absorbent granules.  Do not allow product or washings to enter the waterways or sewer.

Handling And Storage

Store in original container in a cool, dry ventilated place, away from direct heat or sunlight. Store away from foodstuffs, children and animals. Keep container sealed when not in use.
