NO Moss Mould Mildew

Summary

New formula NO Moss Mould Mildew contains a bio-degradable surfactant and safely eliminates moss, mould, mildew, lichen and algae from treated surfaces. Its biocidal action yields superior results when compared to bleach based cleaners. Control may take up to a week depending on the surface type and weather conditions. The bio-degradable surfactant makes this new formula kinder to the environment.

• Turf (Note: this product may cause some burning of grass which will disappear with time. Kiwicare recommends NO Moss in Lawns as a more suitable product for control of moss in turf).

Directions / Application

Diluting with warm water is advantageous. Spray surfaces until wet, use liberally on all areas to be cleaned. Can also be applied with a brush or roller. Avoid run off into drains. If used on roof areas disconnect downpipes to prevent run off into drains. For best results allow to react as long as possible. Do not rinse off. Heavy problem areas may require increased concentrations.

Note: Not for use on bitumen surfaces.

Timing: Allow the product 48 hours to do its job before water-proofing or painting over.  If water-blasting is intended or the urgent removal of heavy moss is required, we recommend that the procedure be carried out before treatment.  Do not hose off after treatment.  Under normal circumstances wind and rain will remove dead moss.

Concrete and Masonry. Dilute 100ml NO Moss Mould Mildew with 1 Litre of water. On level surfaces brush in well with a stiff broom.  On sloping surfaces two light applications may be more beneficial than one heavy one. Avoid run off into drains and if used on roof areas, disconnect the downpipes.

Mould Mildew Slime and general cleaning of walls. Dilute 50ml NO Moss Mould Mildew with 1 Litre of water.

Fabrics Mildew. Dilute 20ml NO Moss Mould Mildew with 1 Litre water. Soak for approximately 4 hours.

Fabrics Cleaning. Dilute 35ml NO Moss Mould Mildew with 1 Litre water for normal cleaning.  For heavy staining up to 1 part product to 5 parts water. Test on a small inconspicuous area first to ensure dyes are not affected.

Germicidal Disinfectant.

Benches, walls, floors and washable surfaces; 40mls NO Moss Mould Mildew to 1 Litre of water. Utensils - 20mls per Litre.

Hint

NO Moss Mould Mildew can and should be used prior to painting or silicone sealing of bricks and blocks.

Safety

Eye Contact - Flush eyes with running water for 15 minutes holding eyelids open.

Inhalation - Avoid inhalation of spray mist. Operator should move to an area of fresh air

Skin Contact - Wash affected area with soap and water.     

Swallowed - Do not induce vomiting, drink 1-2 glasses of milk or water.

                      Obtain medical advice immediately.

If any ill effects persist call a doctor.

Spills And Disposal

Wear protective clothing. Contain spill and absorb with Sand, Soil or absorbent granules.  Do not allow product or washings to enter the waterways or sewer.

Handling And Storage

Store in original container in a cool, dry ventilated place, away from direct heat or sunlight. Store away from foodstuffs, children and animals. Keep container sealed when not in use.
