NO Hydrocotyle Concentrate

SummaryNO Weeds Hydrocotyle

NO Hydrocotyle concentrate is a selective herbicide that kills hydrocotyle, creeping oxalis, daisies, clovers and other broadleaf weeds that grow in lawns and turf.  When used as directed it does not harm grasses.  When applied to stumps of willow, wattle, barbary, hawthorn, woolly nightshade, gorse, broom and other trees which re sprout from stumps.

Directions

For measuring purposes 1 capful holds approximately 15ml.

Grass lawns: Dilute at the rate of 10ml No Hydrocotyle to 1 Litre of water.  This should be sufficient to cover 10 square metres of lawn.

“Lawnboy” sprayer Applicator: 200ml to 12 Litres of water.

How to Mix Concentrates

Trees and Shrubs: Mix one part of No Hydrocotyle with 4 parts of water or diesel.

Mixing NO Hydrocotyle with Kiwicare NO Waste Spray Dye and Sticker will provide a more effective application and a visible colour showing which area has been sprayed – no wasteful over spraying.

Application

Optimum control is achieved in spring, summer and autumn when weed growth is vigorous.  Do not apply if rain is expected within a few hours. Avoid treatment following long periods of dry weather.

Spraying is best done in calm weather to avoid spray drift damage to surrounding non target plants.  Adjust spray to allow relatively large droplets to be sprayed.

Trees and Shrubs – paint the mixed No Hydrocotyle liberally on to all freshly cut stumps and surfaces down to ground level.  If using diesel, agitate while filling and during application.

Caution

Do not use on Dichondra and Cotula lawns or where clover is being encouraged.  Some burning may occur with fine turf grasses. This product must not be used on or around food or animal feed producing plants.

Cleaning Equipment. Rinse sprayer thoroughly with clean water. Surplus spray and washings should not be disposed of near plants susceptible to hormone weed killers.

No Hydrocotyle is highly ecotoxic in the soil environment and to aquatic life.  Dispose of container in garbage, do not contaminate any waterways. Do not use lawn clippings for compost or mulch for 6 months after application.
